What you can expect during a Reiki session:

  1. Preparation: At the beginning of the session, we will discuss any concerns, specific areas of focus, or questions you may have.
  2. Setting: The session takes place in a calm and peaceful environment, often in a quiet room or healing space. You may be asked to lie down on a massage table or sit in a comfortable chair, fully clothed.
  3. Hands-on or hands-off approach: Depending on your comfort level a hands-on or hands-off session will begin. The body’s energy field  can be worked on without physical contact.
  4. Energy transfer: The energy transfer process happenes by channeling Reiki energy. The energy transfer is typically gentle and non-invasive.
  5. Sensations and experiences: As the Reiki energy flows, you might experience various sensations such as warmth, tingling, coolness, or a sense of relaxation and peace. Some individuals may feel emotional releases or experience a release of tension during the session. Others may feel a deep state of relaxation or even fall asleep.
  6. Closing the session: Once the energy transfer is complete, Iwill signal the end of the session. You’ll have a few moments to rest and slowly reorient yourself before getting up.
  7. Post-session discussion: After the session, there will be some time to share your experiences or ask questions. I may offer insights or suggestions for self-care practices that can support your well-being following the session.
